Best performing Rookie listed player in 2005: Not a clue, though I hope Earl Shaw does well (he's a Blue Mountains boy)
Best Performing Debutant in 2005: Sean Dempster- I have a terrible weakness for Dempster :P
Best performing Fringe Player in 2005 Stephen Doyle- just an instinct.
Biggest improvement by a senior player in 2005: This would be a total stab in the dark, but I'll say Saddo.
My love child for 2005: Dempster. Definitely Dempster.Comment

Re: Re: Love Children 2005
[B]Best performing Rookie listed player in 2005 To be honest I don't know enough about the young pups to say who'll be the one who'll stand up.
Best Performing Debutant in 2005 - Josh Willoughby,Nick Malcevski or Tim Schmidt
Best performing Fringe Player in 2005 -Jarrof McVeigh. Has the skills, but is great lacking in upper boy strength. i hope he makes the next big step in 05...
Heath James because we desperately need a tall backman. Please do well this year Heath!
Biggest improvement by a senior player in 2005 - Michael OLoughlin. (Goodes, Schneider, Davis all apply do to their injuries as well. All are crucial as to how we go-Goodes probably more than the rest of them.)

Ben Fixter. The boy HAS talent. He just has to stay fit and get a couple of games in the seniors. He is tenacious like Jude Bolton but faster and with better skills.
Would like for LRT to get a bit more of a go in 2005 as well. Don't know if we will. I hear there are people with huge reservations as to his ability in making quick decisions, as well as his overall skills. I hope he makes it- being a Sydney-boy and rugger convert.

Best performing Rookie listed player in 2005 - Guy Campbell.
I am also hoping to see Ed Clarke prove that he was not only an excellent player due to his size.
Best Performing Debutant in 2005 - Sean Dempster - has trained the house down in pre Season and until Saddo comes back from his reco, I hope will be our Tall Utility
Best Performing Fringe Player in 2005 - Lewis Roberts Thomson - to fill the big man void
Biggest Improvement by a Senior Player in 2005 - Adam Goodes - Back from a bad injury year.
I also hope Nick Davis comes back and utilises his abilities.

Best Performing Rookie in 2005: Guy Campbell, possibly the only rookie to get a chance at senior level this year.
Best Performing debutant: Jarred Moore, will make an impact but mightn't get into the side until mid 2005 and will get s rising star nomination.
Best performing fringe player in 2005: I can't make a decision between a fit Lewis Roberts-Thomson or a much more determined and hungry Mark Powell who would have to know his time has almost run out.
Biggest improvement in a senior player: Stephen Doyle will be the #1 ruckman by season's end.I FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED!!!!!Comment

It's interesting to see that a lot of posters think highly of this years draftee Moore (I believe he previous years first choice is more likely to feature this year).
and
Some people have an expectation that the arrival of Jolly will boost Doyle's performance not be the beginning of the end.
I really hope so.Comment
