In all seriousness, everyone should go have a look at the Brisbane game Round 1 last year. He was simply brilliant. 4 goals by half time, and was chasing everything.

Lets just hope he doesn't get injured again... mentally that is. Football injuries are a part of the profession... how you cope with them requires the mental strength he has struggled so far to find. Yet the talent is most certainly there...

That game against brisbane was a true reflection of his talent, with him injured after kicking his fourth goal ten minutes into the second quarter....

He blew away a couple of opponents and was set to show his talent for all to see against the best, injury free I tip him to kick 50-70 for the year which will be the difference between bottom half of the 8 and top half of the 8.
      Staying ahead of the game...

He was not confident as a defender. But that surprises us little any more.

He did go on the ball for a short period in the 3rd term; it was our most productive period in the match from memory.

Has anyone ever noticed Nick Davis's kicking approach when taking a set shot. It is little more than "1-2-3-Whooshgah!". I cannot recall if I ever ever seen any other footballer at AFL level ever take shots for goal after a 3 step run-up.

And man, does he roost em on that 3 foot run-up as well!

Doesn't matter how many steps, as long as he slots them.

it is an impressive run-up, but the key thing to his accuracy IMO is he steps out his run up as he walks back from the mark, kicks the ground where he is going to kick from and then take a couple more steps back. he takes a fast bowler approach, compare that to the likes of matty richardson, "ah, here'll do, ah. ok, now im running, when do i kick, when do i kick? ah, here'll do."
