Late memberships

OK i've received mine ....However

1. They've moved me in Bay 29 when i specifically ticked the box where i am happy to stay where i am.

2. At Telstra Stadium i am positioned in the same seat (Aisle 106) but the gate entrance is H which is a fair way from that aisle, because last year my gate entrance was B. Has anyone who is positioned near me been allocated the right gate (B)?

Guess i'll have to take this up with the membership dept tomorrow.

I noticed the same thing on mine except I'm aisle 105. I still plan to go in at gate B (especially if I am coming from the Brewery beforehand). Gate H is the gate at the Northern end (behind the CS seats).

I don't think the entry listed on the card matters anyway though....

I tired to go through the wrong gate with my membership last year and couldn't get in!

I got the membership package and the after-thought letter together yesterday! Which was a little weird getting the replacement card before I'd noticed the error on the first one....

Now it's starting to feel like the season's here!

The best thing is the free public transport to Stade de Oz games. I think it could well pull a few extra fans through the gates - very smart move!

They've taken away the free shuttle bus from Bondi Junction I see - you win some, you lose some Anyway I suppose it's easy enough getting a 380 and walking down from Oxford St - it really isn't that far...

I spoke to the customer service at swans just then and they informed me that they had to move me 3 seats in bay 29 at the SCG to accomodate a 2 yr old kid with their family. this might suck because i am loud..VERY LOUD at the games so he/she better beware

Secondly, i told her about the issue at telstra with the incorrect gate entrance, and she informed me that this was a misprint and i would be able to get into telstra through gate B, So Mike_B i think we'll be okay.

There are SOME gates where it matters - the ones that go the upper levels - maybe you tried one of those Cher?

The membership medallion/keyring has no year marked on it this time....and I've religiously collected all the keyrings since 1987.
even those years when you just got a new year pin to replace the previous year's one in the keyring. [/B][/QUOTE] We have 2 keyrings as we are Sydney country members as well as Melbourne members. For the first time the keyrings are slightly different. The Melbourne version has different wording and does have the year on it.

Apparently some SCG seats were printed with a missing digit. ie: one of our memberships is in seat 159, but the card only says 15. the barcode is identical, and we know our seats anyway, so we would have just rocked on in and gone to our usual seats in any case. I suppose it would be an issue for new members and members whose seats have changed.

Replaced by free shuttle bus from the Cross, because SARSC is "our home" now, not Easts.
