    Swans "Dream Team" ... apparently

    B: Crouch, Schauble, C.Bolton
    HB: Barry, Roberts-Thomson, Kennelly
    C: Mathews, J.Bolton, Maxfield
    HF: Goodes, Hall, N.Davis
    F: Schneider, O'Loughlin, O'Keefe
    FOLL: Ball, Kirk, Williams
    I/C: Jolly, Saddington, Bevan, Nicks
    EMG: Doyle, Fosdike, Spriggs

IMO Doyle should be switched with Saddington, and there is every chance that a fit and in form Fosdike would likely go ahead of Nicks. And where is Buchanan??

How is it "your dream team" when the Bugerboy made it up by himself??

I'd at least have Buchanan on the Emg list in place of Fosdike.

Buchanon has to be in there. That is a serious omission.

Doyle should be ahead of Jolly.

LRT at CHB is pure fantasy at this point.

The positions might not be right, but I think the 22 would be pretty close to best.

McVeigh and Spriggs could possibly give Schneider and Bevan a nudge without reducing the effectiveness of the team?

So you don't place Monty in our best 22 at the moment?

Monty will get a run in our best 22, Roosy has told of how pumped he is to see the little fella performin well. Also, from the sounds of it, a lot of senior players are stoaked with the prospects of Jarred Moore. Im definitely not saying he is in our best 22, but of we are going to continue the "Evolution", surely blokes like him and dempster must get a run this season when possible...
                      - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Hang on a sec. If I am correct, Nicks only came into the side in place of Nick Davis' and/or Schneider's absence. We needed a forward flanker and he filled that spot. Dont get too carried away with some of his spectacular performances in the second half of the season... if we are not including him in the starting side, why put him on the bench?

My belief is that you stick back-up ruckmen and midfielders on the bench. Whilst a spare utility is worthwhile also, Bevan fills that role better than Nicks IMO. Without a Fosdike (or better still Buchanan) on the bench I think we are one midfielder short.

nicks re-established himself as the good player he used to be. He deserves to be in the best 22 currently

Only if its at the expense of another utility forward or back-pocket. Not a midfielder... not if Buchanan misses out!
