As a sometime internet slueth, you might think that what you have presented is "evidence" of something or even proof of something, but unfortunately you have on your rather amature hands a case of mistaken identity.

The same is true with your attitude toward the Swans.

Well if this is the continued attitude toward the Sydney members of the Swans by their Melbourne bretheren, then all I can do is refer to my earlier statment and add :
The fact remains that the Swans need a makeover, and you are part of the problem.

Nonono, just keep posting our thoughts, the club will read them and we will all interact and over time the culture of the club will improve and the Swans will realise that their greatest asset is not their past but their future and the city where that future is to materialize.Originally posted by swansrule100

The Swans are as Sydney as any other sporting team bearing the name. And I am proudly a member for that exact reason. Sure I am proud of the clubs Melbourne heritage, and I love seeing the support the team still enjoys when in Melbourne... in fact this is one of the ways the team is so "Sydney".
As is the halycon days of the late 80's and the Capper phenomenon; the way we play in either the greatest cricket ground in the country or the home of the greatest Olympics ever staged; the way we can take "bad boys" or "over-it" players and make them into something special again; the way half the crowd at our biggest games has no idea about the rules; the way we can wake up on Monday morning after a loss and not feel the urge to dump two tonnes of manure on the clubs doorstep; and the way I can walk into Fox Studio and bump into three or four Swans on the way to training and they pleasantly say good morning to me and the wife.
