Same here. I read it as they were happy with what they had to part with day 1 but weren't happy about the contract dollars (I believe it came out at the time he was on around 300k?).Originally posted by liz

This all assumes of course that another club would want him. If he's excess to our requirements, what makes anyone think he'd be wanted elsewhere? Just because we want to trade him doesn't mean any other club will waltz in and hand us a key position player or a high draft pick (as cool as that would be!). Neither did Adelaide which is I think what the problem was with the trade. I am sure the number was that large ('though I might be confusing it with Jude "worth every cent, watch this laces up delivery to the forwards" Bolton's new contract).
