The next six weeks - how will we go?

Round 2 - Kangaroos at Manuka (Canberra)
Round 3 - Brisbane at the Gabba
Round 4 - Adelaide at the SCG
Round 5 - Melbourne at the SCG
Round 6 - West Coast at Subi
Round 7 - Essendon at Telephone Company stadium

The next six weeks will be a true test of our form. All of those games are winnable, but all are loseable as well. If we have a 5-2 record after 7 rounds I'll be happy.

    First thoughts from me:

    Should beat Adelaide and Essendon.

Melbourne, Brisbane and the Roos could go either way.

West Coast will probably be a loss.

So we could be anywhere from 3-4 to 6-1. I would take 5-2 without a doubt though.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I'd be disappointed if we don't take at least two of those three borderline matches... especially considering we have Port and St Kilda in the three weeks after round seven.
      We hate Anthony Rocca
      We hate Shannon Grant too
      We hate scumbag Gaspar
      But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Brisbane will be without both Simon Black and Jonathon Brown which will be a huge advantage to us (consider they no longer have Lynch aswell!)

Not sure about Kangas seeing they ebat Carlton and they will be playing at their home ground.

Not sure about Brisbane because it's their home ground but then they have Black and Brown not playing.

We should beat Adelaide at SCG.

          Not sure about Melbourne.

Lose against WCE especially at Subi.

Beat Ess at Telstra Stadium. We play good there against them.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Roos - We will have the "home crowd" advantage.

Brisbane - history tells us it will be a close game

WCE - I'm not flying all that way to see us lose

The reason why I chose to look ahead to round 7 is that after round 7 all sides play each other once. Round 7 gives a good indication of the final ladder. If we are holding down a top-four spot after round 7 then we are a good chance to finish with a high spot in the eight.

I just like how Port and Essendon are holding down two of the bottom three spots after round 1.

Pity Colingwood isn't down there too!!

It's hard to get a smile out of Eade but Smorgon certainly had a big one.

I'm sure it added to Smorgon's enjoyment of the win that Wallace lost his game. It certainly added to mine!

Round 2 - Kangaroos at Manuka (Canberra)
WIN - Its our 3rd home ground.
Round 3 - Brisbane at the Gabba
LOSS - Although recent record against them is good.
Round 4 - Adelaide at the SCG
WIN - Should be another % booster.
Round 5 - Melbourne at the SCG
WIN - Emotions settled by then.
Round 6 - West Coast at Subi
LOSS - Subi just to hard a trip for us.
Round 7 - Essendon at Telephone Company stadium
WIN - IMO the Dons are potential bottom 4 material.

So we should be 5-2 and top 4. It would be a real pity to drop one of the winnables, and damn hard to make up that game against lions or weagles. But this is the hardest part of our draw for the year with those two road trips.

                        the way i see it-

                        R2:Win
R3:Loss(Brisbane are a bunch of cheats)
                        R4:Win.
                        R5:Could go either way.
                        R6:Loss(Subi-bogey ground)
                        R7:Win
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.
