I'm sure the club will upgrade your membership - they would be silly not to take extra money from you.
After you wandered around late in the game I was thinking that you would be a great assett to the Reilly concourse, the people there and in the stand like to cheer but need someone to get them going in the right direction.
You'd have to settle for a smaller flag tho, and just keep the cheering simple and easy to follow!
Sitting opposite Peter you guys have the ability to get the whole ground going.

      1. You ARE behind the goals.
      2. With the elevated view it is just so much better, and for some reason the front row of the stand is always the last to fill.
      3. It badly needs some-one like you to pump them up.
      4. It costs the same as a concourse seat & much cheaper than O'Reilly or Brewongle or Bradman.
      5. You are right there for the aftermatch.
      6. Because the seating is all unreserved, if you feel like being right behind the goals, just stroll down. I would give heaps to see you bang that drum in the senior citizens lugholes down there.
Yes JF, come to the MA Noble and stir things up. The mums and dads crowd there on Sunday needed a bomb under them to get them going. Saturday nights are much better with less North Shore types and more blokes on beer. Then it rocks.

        WOW!

Wherever he chooses to sit,i hope he fires up the crowd!

i hope they upgrade his membership which i am confident they will do.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

            Gday JF,

Mate, I have been in the O'Reilly ever since the Swans came to Sydney in 82 (I was only 3 then and 25 now!) and it is simply the best seats of all AFL grounds. I have travelled to all AFL grounds to watch a game and no matter where I sit, nothing beats O'Reilly Stand.

When you came up with your drum I was directly behind about 8 rows back from where you were playing and it certainly fired up the crowd!

Also, when I was 8 in the Warwick Capper days, I was one who took my whistle and got the crowd going...now I just try and start the chanting with Sydney (clap...) etc...

We get into it up in the O'Reilly!!

I find it often takes us deep into the second half to really come alive if it is an average game. There are a few of us who wouldn't mind joining in, but it's hard to get going when there are just small pockets of people cheering.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

From the MA Noble I reckon I hear more chants starting in the O'Reilly than anywhere else. But what about staring into the sun on a sunny Sunday arvo? I hate that.

I sit about 6 rows from the back in the O'Reilly and the sun only tends to arrive in the last quarter...not a big issue with our member caps in usage!!

Iv gone from the MA Noble, to the Messenger and now sit comfortably in the O'Reilly. It is amazing! I love it. The view is quality. I was recently moved rom average seats on Level 6 at Telstra, to apparently some quality seats on Level 1 at Halfway.. have to wait n c to back that up..
                    I encourage the move ASAP!!

JF/ I have tried the Brewongle, Noble and O'Reilley stands
and find that the O'Reilly is best for me. Don't get too far
back at the Paddington end as that stupid stand next to
the O'Reilley protudes and blocks the vision of the forward
pocket. It generally gets vocal in small pockets when the
games are closer. It was dead on sunday until the you
                      arrived with your drum.
