With all this talk about "defeating the flood" perhaps it was a chance to get some practice. Bomb it long to the goals!

I didnt boo and neva have. I go to the footy to not only watch a game of footy but to support our boys. The sad thing was it was prob only one person who booed then everyone joined in. If we boo we r just as bad as richmond except they boo to the players as they r coming off after a sucsessive loss.
Come on everyone its the start of the season support our boys not boo them.

I know what you are saying Jenky, but if I can use my experiences watching FC Bayern matches in Germany to know that fans in Europe are not scared to voice their disappointment when they feel their side has let them loud. We played Paris St Germain one night and it was clearly obviously that the team were neither interested nor motivated. They were whistled off the pitch at half time, and rightly so. Many supporters had travelled from all over Germany and surrounding countries to support their team and felt let down by the display put on by their "Fussballgoetter".

We supporters have a right to pass comment. I dislike that when people do make negative comments that they are instantly deemed fickle. I booed and I'm one of the least fickle fans in the whole bloody club. It is those who chose to leave and desert the team in the last quarter who are the fickle ones in my books.

We pay our memberships and are members of the club. The fact that we dared criticise something the players did is to me an indication that we indeed care and are insulted by the players mocking them by just kicking the ball around in the manor they did on Sunday.

I know you could say that they were trying to stay uninjured in lieu of the big match in Canberra next week. But if I just bummed around and did the crossword for the last 5 minutes of my work day, people would jump on me like a ton of bricks.

Re those thrashings dished out by the Swans in 1987 (I was at all three games), I've come to the conclusion that we wont ever see Sydney kick a scoreline like that again.

Anyone would think they played kick-to-kick for 20 mins the way everyone is going on about it in the press and here!
It was no more than 10 kicks if that! I didnt boo!! Maybe they should have bombed it long and tried to get some more goals but if the scoreline read Sydney 130 instead of what it is (Sydney 116) does it really matter?
Whats important is - We won, with a good percentage. We won with no major injuries bar Doyle, and we won playing some good footy with a strong foundation for the season ahead!

            BRING ON THE ROOS!!!
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

They only did kick to kick/keepings off/piggy in the middle for a good 1-2mins I'd say. And what's even more sad, we let the Hawks double their score in the final term too! Our team is not perfect, no team is so we do have a right to "boo" if they do something wrong. They need to know what they did wrong. And then hopefully fix it.

if, as supporters, our biggest issue all year is booing when the swans are up by over 50 then ill be happy

                    Who cares!

it didn't affect the game at all.

If you want to boo something, boo the prices at the food counters or those pushy people in white t-shirts and black pants selling raffle tix!
