Sunquist and Fixter would also be in danger of being delisted this year if they fail to get on the park for at least 16 senior/reserve games.

We can therefore retain all of our midfielders from the 02, 03 & 04 drafts for future development and still have enough room to retain Fosdike and draft a couple more in this years draft.

Would have thought that Ball will retire before Maxfield or Williams, and that Powell would go before Sundqvist and Fixter . . .

. . . which I guess just reinforces your point

I limited it to just midfield type players but you are also correct Ball is in his last year and Powell would have to be on shakey ground if Saddington gets back and firing and Dempster also steps up like he is promising at present.

Adds up to Fosdike retaining his place on the list at least for the next couple of seasons, unless a cracker of a trade comes across and these days they are not around as much.

IMHO there will be a lot of interesting trading next year. A number of clubs are either under enourmous salary cap pressure (Saints) or money issues (Bulldogs).

There are a heap of (relatively) big name young players out of contract at year end.

        Could be an interesting one.

*Here we go round the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush...*

It's round two again, and we've delisted Fosdike, retired Maxi and traded Doyle. I love this time of year. From personal experience, it's a time when people make statements that bite you in the backside later in the year. The funny thing is, some of us don't seem to learn.

Harsh Charlie, nobody said anything about Saddo
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

At the end of the year we should trade Spriggs, Fosdike and Saddo to the Saints for Lenny.
good trade. 3 hacks for a NSW boy the sainters can no longer affoard!!!

Complaining about Fosdike doesn't seem to have ever bitten anyone on the arse thus far...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

'Thus far' being the operative words.

Complaining about Warfe didn't haunt anyone, either, but complaining about Goodes, O'Loughlin, Kirk, Nicks, Bolton* and I suspect Davis is next.

The point is, there's absolutely no point to any of it in round two. Now, back to the mulberry bush.

Ah shut up!.... I'll complain all I want , that's whats great about the footy. ya get to complain whenever ya want.
                          But who's complaining??
Fosdikes out, that hack Spriggs is out. The team is looking top heavy with guys who can catch and can kick.
Just hope they don't get ahead of themselves this w'kend.

When players underperform, people complain. Fairly natural thing to do and if a player has been doing so for a while why not?

.... because it's round two. Just a tad premature to be speculating about delistings, trades and draft picks.
