I received our tickets by express post yesterday. We arrive at in Brisbane about 12.30. Im not sure who else is going up or what needs to be done before the game. I think Aimee has helped pole the banner before, I have stripped the banner in Melbourne, so we are happy to offer any help if it is needed, but also dont want to step on anyones toes either. Aimee is intending to take black pants with her, she is hoping to go out on the ground with the banner if that is possible. We are looking forward to the game, I just hope it is not as boring as last weeks game and that we get to applaud a few more than 7 goals. See you on Saturday and let me know if you need any help.

I'll be there but have no idea where I'm sitting as a Lions fan bought my ticket. It sounds like the Pineapple before the game? (I tried the German Club last year.) Tony Morwood is in Denver so there is no Swans function. Catch up at the Cheer Squad area after the game - but be careful crossing the ground during kick to kick?

Considering it is in Brisbane and in all intents and purposes a holiday to many of us, we can relax the black pants rule on Saturday night. With Les Cygnes helping the regular Sydney banner crew we should have more than enough people to poll the thing.

HOWEVER this banner was made with the dodgy dodgy crepe. It is akin to tissue paper and seriously rips even when you blow on it. so we will have to be EXTRA careful in getting things done and the banner poled gently. I'd assume one of the regulars will just bring it up in the plane.

You could always dye the extra thick sorbent 5 ply toilet paper red. But that would be a lot of strips considering they're thin.
