Each to their own I guess, but to be honest I think that verges on extortion. You could get a group of friends together and hire a corporate box for less than that I reckon.

yes it is a little exe, but my options were there or sit with the cheer squad. After sitting with the CS last year I didn't want to do it again, the view is crappy and I'm also going with Lions fans so seating them in the middle of the cheer squad was not viable either.

The CS allocation of tickets is not the only tickets the club has its its disposal for its members BB.

Next year get tickets through the club for the reserved allocation on the half forward line near where the players come out. Not only is it not far to hold up the banner, but you can get tickets for Lions fans with your lot of tickets as well. In 2002 this was what happened to us; we were stuck in the middle of heaps of Lions members.

From memory the tickets were $30 odd each.

Doesn't surprise me. the lass at the Lions said there was a whole row of seats she couldn't sell in the CS area alone.

Thee are 30 sitting with the CS and over 150 in the allocation on the Simex tyres sign on the half forward flank on the outer side.(right of screen on the TV.)

Apparently when they opened up the banner and laid it out on the ground, there were numerous rips in the crepe (we all know the crepe quality saga) and then it was being patched up, but the players came out on the ground earlier than expected and it was a real struggle to get it up in one piece.

Then, to cap it all off, Gemma did her knee during the process.

She may not have managed her planned debut in the SWAFL but least she was on a footy field. I think it means she holds the record for the LEAST consecutive games from debut.

And so the players did a bit of their warm up and then after a bit of discussion came back around and ran through the banner about 5 minutes after they should have. At one point we thought that a) they weren't going to run through it or b) they were going to run through it backwards.
