Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them. -
Lrt
Can't be replaced by a small man, has to be someone with size. Give him time. This was his best game this season. You can't compare small players with big blokes like LRT, they take more time. LRT is still learning the game and he has a long way to go.Comment

He learns every time he runs out into a big game, he competes really well and makes a few mistakes as young players will do.
Roos should give him a couple more games, James isnt the answer.

as a young, tall backman all that can be asked of you is to keep your man quiet. as others have said, who was LRT on? he kept them that quiet, that it is hard to pinpoint his matchup.
as a young, tall backman disposal is not an issue. if he wins the ball, then good, but he cant be expected, at this stage, to do something with it.
the comparison between dempster and LRT is ludicrous!C'mon Chels!Comment

Pike was at CHF at one stage ... and he only got 12 touches for the match and only one behind.
If that is he case one would say he seemed to do his job.Comment

I think we all forget that LRT has only played about 60-70 games of AFL total in his entire career - most 22 year olds have usually played well over 250 games (that includes, junior footy, state footy etc).
He is still learning the game - yet shows a pretty good instinct for winning the footy. Yeah - sure he makes a lot of mistakes - but young tall mobile footballers take awhile to develop. I reckon you have got to give him some time in the position for awhile - and then maybe some time where he isn't the only key tall down back.Comment

Still his decision making is alot to be desired but i would rather see him in their than Heath James.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

I'm firmly in the pro-LRT camp.
While obviously not a star defender (at this stage), his game continues to improve. He seems to read the play much better now, knows where the contests will occur and will keenly put himself into them.
Remember he's somewhat of a project like Tige, probably not as naturally talented, but will get stronger and more dangerous opponents. He's definitely getting better though so we should to stick with him. And it's not like were exactly blessed with tall defenders.
Besides, you LRT-knockers need to realise that he was pivotal in our victory last night. As a 'decoy' forward he tied up Mal, releasing RyanO and Baz who won the game for us.
GO LRT and GO THE SWANSTo all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!Comment
