Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.
The Fifth Quarter remarked that the free was a bit soft, and it did look that way to me on replay. Considering the large number of soft frees paid to Bazza's opponents over the previous three seasons, I'm happy for Bazza to receive one for a change. I reckon it makes up for a season's worth of soft frees against Bazza.

I didn't think it was soft at all - Scott very clearly caught Hall on the head, neck and shoulder.

Agree 100%. Barry was infringed during the marking contest and it was at least to me that Scott didn't go for the ball, because he was too late to reach it. In fearness to say, that was the best thing he could and the umps pinged him.

Definitely - I actually thought they weren't going to pay it. I think the whistle came a bit late.

It was a good and gutsy call. Having been married to an umpire I have seen the consequences of the decisions umpies have to make such as your dog dead on the front door mat when you get home and the police having to help you get out of the ground, and the old Ladies with their umbrellas etc. etc. It would be easy to let home team decisions go but he was brave enough to call it and compared to other decisions during the game, the weekend, the season it was there.

I reckon only a season of soft frees for will make up for the seasons of soft frees against. And why not? Lloyd has been getting the rub of the green for years now.

Did that really happen? Wow... that really is taking things too far.
