Man, that was a night and a half! No rain for 3 months then a massive thunderstorm that left both me AND my flags drenched to the core. and even worse, the next day which was when we supposed to play the match but was changed because of the Goodwill Games wanky marathon, was just perfect!

I had my backpack flying home and there were still drips coming out of it the night after the match.

Luckily we are heaps more organised these days. And it is not just me and the banner crew. Let's build on what we are creating and develop our core support in Brisbane! Let's aim to get a proper QLD Supporters Club as well as 50 people sitting behind the goals with the Cheer Squad for next year's match. It IS VERY attainable!

Lettuce know how things pan out JM. I can get you in contact with Tony M at the Melbourne office so we can realy look at developing support at the Lions away game.

Firstly it is AWESOME to see you finally on here AnnetteF. It just helps so much having our Queensland contingent online and able to find out what we are up to.

No, the last minor round in 2001 from memory. we had to win to get a home phone. But despite a last quarter come-back, just fell short in the sopping wet last quarter.

Not a night I care to remember, given the rain and everything.
