    Justin Koschitzke

Big Footy rumour has it that Koschitzke is unhappy at St Kilda and is leaving at the end of the year.Would we want him?
I would. The Swan are good at turning around dissatisfied Saints.

Definitely have him, though we would have to give up at least Rnd 1 and 2 picks or Rnd 1 plus a best 22 player of the type St. Kilda are lacking (O'Keefe, J. Bolton). We're on a flag push and don't need any more 18 year olds at the moment, that's for sure.

When you consider we have players like Malceski, Potter, Willoughby, Moore, Schmidt, Vogels, Campbell and Fixter who are under 23, highly rated and waiting for their chance then giving up picks for a 23 year old KPP does make sense.

We have lots of good players both in the team and just outside it. Depth is not a problem. But we only have one superstar.

Big time. Huge fan. Would give up rounds 1 and 2 plus player. Only query is ongoing injuries. He has been terribly unlucky. Oh and he's a NSW boy.

I think Kosi has been a tad disappointing and also believe that Big Footy is not the most reliable source. Have heard that Goddard is not over enamoured of the Saints at present but he did re-sign last year I think.

All you need to get him is a large sack, a tranquilliser gun and two hunters dressed in camouflage gear. Dart him, bag him, and smuggle him to Sydney.

I hope we do not draft him. Injury prone knock-kneed pretender who makes Ottens look good. Footy players with knock-knees get injured a lot. Only suitable swap would be Heath James, as they would probably spend about the same amount of time on the paddock. That would be a fair trade.

Kosi is a good player, much more co-ordinated than say LRT.

Rising Star winner. Reckon he'd be great across HF for any team if he can stay on the park.

I don't rate him that highly and in any case. I think we agree the material issue is whether he can fit. There a lot of parallels between he and Ottens and this is one of them.

Perhaps another point is that we already have BBB as CHF and a strong forward line built around him. IMO, if we were to draft JK, would be for the backline and he doesn't belong there.

Actually, I'd rather have McGuire. Would they give him to us?

I suspect St Kilda is about to self destruct as people are starting to see that Grant Thomas is running a cult not a footy club, and cannot actually coach. Maybe we should send someone down there to abduct McGuire and get him deprogrammed.

LOL. Or a youth community centre. And he never could coach anyway:

                  1. "Let's go watch a movie instead this week guys"
                  2. "Who wants to be Captain this week? Remember that everyone gets a go, so no pushing in alright?"
                  3. "Ruckman? What do they do? Whatever it is, we dont need em"

If he did leave St Kilda, then yes the Swans should go after him like a shot. After all young key position players don't grow on trees. Can be used at CHB, CHF or in the Ruck. One would think he'll become the CHB if we got him, thus solving the main problem area just like that.

Question mark over his fitness levels and the fact he gets injuried quite alot, but still if available the Swans would be stupid not to enquire about trading for him.

                      Summed it up perfectly imo.

I can not beleive anyone on this board would be unhappy with getting someone like Kosi to the club.

He is young, has size and is capable of playing KP in a number of different postions.

In case you haven't noticed their is not a mythical production line for young KP players that churns out players of his qualities every other month.

Would take a low first rounder and probably a sound player in their early 20's to get him to the club, but IMHO would be well worth it.

He would certainly be a big asset, but how do we get him?

Lose every game and get him as a priority pick???

hmmm rumour probably isnt true and its a bit early to worry about trading at the moment.

He would be worth getting, maybe he feels like riewoldt holds him back, though prefer koschitzke to stay and riewoldt to come! plus koschitzke is hard to spell

If he's available, I have one question: how much longer is Magic going to last?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
