According to Ch 10, Ball is likely to miss 2 weeks. They showed a snippet of an interview with Willo where he said "the bone is not too badly displaced and I could be back as early as 4 weeks, but as many as 8".

Let's hope its the 4 week option!

His surgeon? So does he actually need an operation? In my experience most broken collarbones don't get surgery.

Most relevant snippet is probably that neither Schauble nor Saddo are likely to come into consideration this week.

Also mentions that Goodes is likely to be thrown back into the ruck, though not at centre bounces.

What is wrong with Doyle. If he is indefinite then it has got to a stage where he is no value to the Swans. He has had problems like this every year and appears not tp be able to stand up to the rigours of AFL football. He is taking up a valuable roster slot IMHO.
p.s How many times has he been hurt in Rd 1?

We have a number of players who just can't get on the park - James, Doyle, Fixter, and Saddington also slowly approaching that level. Surely their time is becoming limited.

Is the Jolly incidenct when Jolly limped off in the first quarter and played the rest of the game?

Jolly went off about mid Q1 and stayed off for the rest of the Q. He had heavy strapping applied and probablu a needle. Came back on on Q2 and played normally. Would be sore when the needle wore off.

Doyle, Fixter and James are wasting space on Sydney's list - they will never be strong enough to play at AFL level. Get rid of them and elevate some rookies. At least they might eventually play.

Short term anyway. I'm not sure Leo Barry or any ruckman will be walking well by the time they are 50. I heard Dunkley sold his Eastern Suburbs house about 18 months ago because he couldn't readily get up and down the stairs anymore.
