    Ah yes the memories,

I can remember back in the mid to late 80's, the time of the Swannetts when we'd kick a goal and the music would play and the Swannetts would dance...

"Show em (grunt) show em (grunt), show it to em SYdney, show em your the Swans, show em your the winners, your the mighty swans...You show em SYdney!!"

Does anyone else remember that great goal kicking song??!!??
    Swannies for life!

I used to sit behind the Swannettes with my teammates from my junior club.We use to chant "cartwheel, cartwheel" when a goal was scored.
A bloke I went to school with would stand behind the goals and mark the ball(he was tall and a good player) then pass it to his mate who was a junior state sprinter who would bolt out of the SCG.They managed to pinch quite a few footies.
        Good times.

And a great big "GOAL" would appear on the screen. That dissappeared a few years ago in what I think was some gesture of politeness towards the visiting team.

I'd rather have that on the screen than the lyrics of the Theme Song. It's so corny. We are not AAMI stadium. We are not Port Adelaide.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Yes, I remember back in the late 80's when we kicked 30+ goals in consecutive weeks at the SCG (Vs West Coast and Essendon I think) and song was virtually played NON STOP!!

Jason Ball did that a few years ago. and certain RWO listee who shall remain nameless (but DOES sit in the front row of the Cheer Squad area) just happened to be reading her Record when she should have been watching the footy. She copped it square in the face!

Not as bad as Ando in Brisbane though. even if he has a bigger noggin for starters!

But there were two. Don't forget Glenn Shorrock's effort "Kick On'. It was truly memorable. especially when we were 10 goals down and felt like really celebrating.

I remember North Melbourne Cheer Squad used to like to dance to it after every Swans goal. It was that sad!

Talking about Glen Shorrock - I remember the sign at the Lakeside Oval "LRB and South together in 197...." (can't remember the year)
