Take Fixter and James. At least Doyle gets into the seniors every so often. Far more than these two other guys do. Those two are far more expendable than Doyle.
Just feel he is taking up space, as I say no doubt he has the talent, but if he is going to be off field more than on, not much use to the club.
Prehaps a trade for another ruckman

But that is my point - he is on the field more than these other two guys. So they have to go before he does if you are weeding out the injury-prone players.

I cant see any team wanting to trade a ruckman for this injury riddled ruckman.

What other club is going to trade a ruckman for him knowing his history.

As previously said, as our list currently stands Doyle will be going nowhere for at least another 2 to 3 years unless he was to do something that meant a premature end to his career.

Both Erickson & Shaw are at least another 2 to 3 years away being considered to play (other than stop gap when needed) and with Jolly the only other recongised ruckman on the list he won't be traded or delisted you can bet on that.

I would also suggest that Fixter and Sunquist will be on the choping block before Doyle.

Heath James will also be under some scrutiny if he does not crack it for a regular game by seasons end.

Was it true or pure speculation that Doyle and Fosdike were offered as a trade to Adelaide at the end of last year???

I agree with you that surely Heath would possibly be ahead of Doyle, not Sunquist yet and I still think Fixter has a role to play...but if they are not playing regularly, how long can you keep them floating?

Fosdike was but the rumour was that Adelaide were shocked at the size of his contract.I don't know if that is true or not.
Doyle, because of the position he plays is a keeper for a few years.A decision has to be made on Heath and Fixter. They are taking up valuable space atm sorry to say.

Just thinking about it, will give Doyle the benefit of the doubt, in order of those to be delisted/traded 1.Fixter
                2.James
                3.Doyle

Assuming Ben and/or James are traded, what would you reasonably expect for them, personally mid/late round 2 draft pick is the best case scenario IMHO

I think Fixter would definately attract some interest from other clubs but sadly for Heath (he is a great bloke) I doubt many other clubs would take the punt on him.

Having forgotten about Sundqvist, I'd even add him at 2 or 3, above or below James, but definitely above Doyle. If Malceski was to get injured badly again this season, I'd place him above Doyle too.
