I've not been a big Jude Bolton fan myself BUT he is one of the few Swans players playing consistently good footy at the moment.Originally posted by ROK Lobster

Agree with both sides or your 'BUT' crusier (all puns intended). That said, I'd rather have Judd...Originally posted by cruiser

Miss the hell out of Cressa. They all talk about Stuey and his preparation and all that stuff but Daryn trained the house down and had more footy smarts than that whole midfield combined.
I believe that he and Willo held that midfield together. Cress had the power in his arms and the dragons in his chest.
As for Malax, well that Sandgroper can stay where he is. He'll probably go the way of Drummy! haThe Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment

how the hell did he get on his own so much. he was a damn fine player. i can remember 2 instances from 2003 where he was in the clear on the half forward line to run in and drill the goal
*port final - and he was spent after that one - tim lanes
commentary was good too
*pies at the dome - same thingRoosy = LEGENDComment

Interesting to see some genuine Cressa appreciation! For me, he was, with Kell, the heart of this team for so many years...
I believe he would come back to Sydney if asked. In fact, he said so last year at our informal "goodbye" at the aftermatch against Geelong, when Cressa made a "guest" appearance thanks to Luffy.
Personally, I think that he couldn't have gone straight to an assistant coach with us, that he was too close to the current players, but in a year or two...He's also learned a bit of the craft at Geelong and now Brisbane (though I doubt Akker takes much notice of him).
I'm almost tempted to reinstate him as my av, but while the Swans are playing like the Crap Swans of old, I'm sticking with Sally...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."Comment
