Hasn't happened yet. Keep saying your prayers each night to make sure it does... otherwise we may finish 5th again!

I never remember this 5 year plan everyone goes on about, I just remember the 3 year coaching contract and 3 year plan that went with it...

Always thought the 5 year plan was pulled out of thin air!, but oh well, I will go with it.

Going to be nowhere to hide in 2007 I would suggest.

Our five-year plan is going well and our factories are producing more than ever! Hail the workers!

Five year plans and lots of red. Did the Swans just get taken over by the Communists or something?

The leader is correct. We must never question the leader. We have not been losing games, everything is going well. The game plan is excellent. How lucky we are to be part of this collective.

I have complete faith in the democratic process that has forced itself into being. Just as the Berlin Wall toppled, the Soviet Union collapsed and Iraq has been liberated, so too did the sleeping giant of democracy awake in the administrative bowels of the Sydney Swans football club. Just as those revolutionaries stirred it, with their placards and their chants, our elected voices will further shake and encourage it 'til, like those great rabbles to the south, we the members run the place. I see a future where member votes elect the coaching staff and match selections are carried out TLM style, here, on a Thursday night. I see a club, of the people, by the people, for the people. Future 5 year plans will be published for us all to see (hopefully in a natty Powerpoint presentation), with its troughs, and peaks clearly visible. The coach will outline his game plans here, and be open to comment. Players will answer questions at AM functions. There will be no giggling at the banners, no scuttling off in distant airports. There will be accountability, transparency and representative responsibility. No more will the down be pulled over our eyes.

Yes. There are four fingers being held up. There are four lights. And 2 + 2 = 5.

                    Long live the leader!

Just our luck though. Soon as it looks like we could make a play with Brisbane for priority picks the AFL goes and decides to "Review" the situation with the possibility of getting rid of the priority all together - We won't get a chance to do a Melbourne!!!
