I agree that this is part of the cause of the problem. Hall in ruck wouldnt help at all. Hall back at full forward would. And staying down there, not moving down the field to our half back line, as sometimes happens at the moment.

Played his best when in the ruck \last week and has to play there (constant echo of mine I know). Not really for the tap, but for the clearance after the other ruckman is trying to recover.

      Kills 'em everytime!

With no ruckmen in the swans team this week we will see Hall doing more ruckwork in the forward 50.

As my partner said to me during the game - "If there are two men playing on Barry Hall, where is the free man? What is he doing?"

I completely agree with this. What I would do - if there are two men on Altruistic Barry Hall, put Schneider/Bucky/Moore on the free man that is on Barry. Should be good for a couple of sneak goals, surely.

With the injuries there HAS to be another debut this weekend. Wouldn't mind seeing Moore or one of the taller guys, Campbell or Vogels.

I haven't seen a game live this year so that may have skewed my view, but I wouldn't say Hall's in a form slump. He's had a lot of shot's on goal, just needs to regain his confidence.

Maybe, but he wasn't much interested in the contest at hand.

Hall doesnt seem to be leading very well, if at all at the moment. He seems content to go man on man and try to push his opponent away or win an unlikely free kick. The SCG may be a small ground, but we can easily free it up to give our forwards the space to lead into. Body and body will not work when the opposition is playing a loose man in defence, ala Bizzel. Barry needs to start leading up the ground towards CHF where he is most lethal more often. Maybe this will come when he finds some more form, but at the moment it seems to be lacking.
                  - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Maybe he's still recovering from his Ankle operation. Hmm.
