This new tribunal system is so pathetic.............they try to copy the rugby league but thay fail miserably yet again players get off for hard contact to the head but on something so minor as the Jolly incident he gets the kitchen sink thrown at him and for nothing.
So now you have a bunch of morons umpiring the game and idiots laying down stupid sentences at the tribunal........and the worst appeal board of any code in any sport that I've seen.

While the NRL system they adopted still has the odd flaw to it, the major difference and where the AFL have stuffed up is in determing the grading for the various offences.
You can have what ever system you like, but if the powers that be get the gradings wrong the system can't cover for sheer incompetence
