Easter Bunny predicts No 1 Draft pick

Well I thought most Victorian footy scribes were fools when they predicted the Swans to finish last. Unfortunately after tobights effort, I think a top 5 pick, maybe even the first looks very positive.

With Melbourne on the rebound next week, then Collingwood and Brisbane, we're looking 1 - 6 at this stage. At best 2 - 5.

Bazza looks like he'll be rested by the judiciary for a few weeks. Let me guess, that will provide a spot for Warfe.

I read Maxfield questioned Roos about which players were not putting their hand up. After sitting through that game, I'm surprised (and concerned) he did.

Colless said at half time on the ABC that Sydney were in trouble financially off the field this year if they did not win games because of the Rugby World Cup and Soccer eating up all the sponsership money. It's getting very grim indeed.

Although I'm noy about to start yelling to sack the coach, sack half the team at this stage, it won't be long when everyone else is.

I think its time we started a new order of the Swans Flagillates. Very simple to gain membership. Only requires two things. Follow the Swans and have a leather strap.

You watch the Swans and at the same time, hit yourself across the back with the leather strap whilst enouncing loudly, "I suffer, I suffer, Oh Lord how I suffer!!!"
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

I tell ya we better start watching the TAC Cup because that is our future. We are going to get the best 2 young players available come draft day.

And you question me when I say the Melbourne club officials say that our list is close to the worst.

Even though we will not be on the bottom come the end of the round, no ifs or buts about it, we are in the worst form atm out of any team. We deserve to be on the bottom.

Goodness what a lot of barbs now - maybe just list all players A to Z and pick on them all. For Goodness sake it is Easter let's be a bit more pleasant - everyone is down on all the team, coach, chairman - next you will pick on us supporters too.

Cheer up and get some positives. Support no matter what.
            Love those Swans

Some foolish old biddy in the Swans cheer squad had a dig at me last night, for "doing nothing but hang s*** on them all night."

Uhh.... open the other eye. We were PATHETIC!

I'm not calling for blood yet, but the fact is we were woeful. Get over it... get used to it. It's gonna be pretty common over the next couple of years.

The players aren't babies, they can handle some criticism when it's due, and boy is it due! I will always support them. But I won't necessarily always cheer them.

                Charlie

BTW that old biddy is apparently a little insecure. At the Melbourne game last year, she was going for Geelong in the simultaneous game between the Cats and Lions. Being the loyal Northern clubs fan I am, I was of course going for Brissie. As the Lions were inching ever further in front, she got more and more agitated. I kept saying "Go Brissie." every time I saw the scores. She turned around and said; "Why don't you just shut up, you little s***. You're only going for them to get at me!" Tickets on herself!!!

It seems like that is already done at the SCG most days when at halftime, despite being down by like 8 goals and having played pathetically, the players will still get a cheer as they head down the race into the rooms.

I'll always support them, but when things are not acceptable IMO, I'll let people know about it.

The Melbourne Cheer Squad was weak last night and to think we had some saying "oh they tried real hard". This is our problem the players get told this all the time and they think they are not too far away.

If they play **** I say so, if they play well I say so. No middle ground and no oh they tried real hard. Well lady they didn't try hard enough

OK, I will. Hawthorn Cheer Squad had at least 20-30 people willing to stand up and chant for their team after Hawks' goal. How many did the Swans Cheer Squad have leading cheers, the same of old "three musketeers" brigade from Sydney (me, Alex E, and Paul)? And of course Robbie Ando?

Sure we had little to cheer about, but there are way too many grannies in the Melbourne Swans' Cheer Squad. We had nearly 3 full bays of Swans supporters. Only 3 people standing up is sadly pretty poor.
