1 Flag in the past 5 years.

2 flags in the past 15 years

4 flags in the past 25 years.

In anycase if anything needs improving its the coaching staff and the recuiting staff, you know the ones who pick the players.
Then you are an even more deluded and foolish young punter than I had heretofore thought you.

Maybe take off your rose coloured sun glasses and realise that the Swans have been winning a lot of games through dubious tactics for every year during the last 10, bar 2. IE 96 and 2003.

        Touche!!!!!

It amazes me when people, and some on this board are very quick to do it, belittle clubs who have actually won premierships, when we have won none!!!!! All Essendon are guilty of is underachieving. Oh how I would love for us to be accused of that. What luxury!

How can someone possible question the success of Essendon, when compared to many other clubs in the competition.

ANd Footyhead, the culture thing that you espouse has been around the park many times. Despite this, I'm just a bit lost, so perhaps you can enlighten me, as to how you go about getting a "winning" culture by losing games. Help me out here, cause I'm really struggling.

I think you started to hit on it when you talked about Essendon under achieving.

          The Swans over achieve.

As soon as we fall down the ladder something will be done because the self delusion will be over.

Just wait if we win tonight all these idiots will be back on the band wagon saying that the Swans can win the flag again. They can't until we get a better sense of self respect, a better drafting policy, a better game plan and a better coach.

None of those things will happen unless the Swans fall down the ladder.

I mean what kind of administration puts a guy like Roos into the position of head coach ??
The guy didn't even coach any second grade teams, nor did he study under anyone one except Rodney Eade. It's bordering on farce.
