Is anyone watching the game on Fox Footy, how have we played so different brand of football comapred to last week ?
Not hugely different, although there is more kicking than handball and at least they're playing a more accountable brand of football, which has stopped the Eagles from running over the top of us. Our skills are generally lamentable though. My view of Spriggs' disposal before we recruited him was pretty much right - he has to be one of the worst in the competition.

IF we do get up, let us just remember that bench strength will be a HUGE factor in the 2nd half and not get carried away with the performance itself.

Our forward line is dysfunctional. Our goals are just sheer hard work - no plan to them. No wonder we don't kick many goals.

49 tackles to half time, that deserves credit

Well we should have taken our 1/2 chances in the first quarter, because the Eagles took their 1/2 chances very well in the second. Goodes is doing an unbelievable job at the moment, hopefully he can outlast Cox.

I don't know how the hell Spriggs messed up that kick. He can't kick with his natural right so I would like to know what makes him think he can kick with his left. Being carved up by Cousins as well.

They've been pretty darn lucky with the crumbs. A number of times there the ball has bounced around in between legs, only top pop out of legs in front of a free WC player on the attacking side.

Fingers crossed it doesn't continue and we get some more goals like the last three.

That's got to be some kind of record.

Exactly, they have a few lucky goals.

At least we are having a go this week - Kirk is playing a top game as is Goodesy.

We need to keep at 'em - if we are close at 3/4 I'll back us to win - within 10 points we need to be.

No, you most certainly wouldn't want to even if they are playing against the side that you support.

..or is LRT rucking. He's only been credited with a single HO, but that's hardly conclusive.

Goodes isn't winning the hit-outs, but is winning a fair bit of ball at ground level. So my point is when we have Doyle/Jolly/Ball back, Goodes should still be playing ruck rover.

I reckon he would be best used playing on the opposition's 2nd ruckman, when their top liner has gone for a spell on the bench on the forward line.

Good too see that Kirky is kicking it more. has 11 kicks out of his 13 possessions. Last week he had 5 kicks and 17 handballs
