Mate, I'd be very happy with any win right now.

But we still have to look at the bigger picture of things. we are selling the game here in NSW. Ugly football will win us no friends whatsever.

I'm just waiting for us to go on a goal binge one day (a la Melbourbe 2003). We are a team so reliant on confidence. Give us ONE 8 goal quarter and see things start coming into place.

Then again, I thought that after the game in Brisbane.

      I concur.

Whats wrong with staying positive? Its better to be positive than walk round miserable all day!

As for ROK Lobster - why dont you try shutting up for once. What makes you the 'god almighty' around here. Your just another one of those people who are completely egocentric. What do you do in life that makes you so important??
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

On the other hand, we haven't won the wooden spoon - or looked like it under Roos. We have come 3rd, 5th and are currently in 12th position. Imagine the whining if people on RWO followed a really crap team!

is there an association with the name Schneider and the need to stay positive on this message board?

If associated with Schneider it's either that or sink into a self-obsessive mire of pity...

I think some people here associate RWO far too closely with real life. People might complain about the performance of their club, as is their right to do, but it doesn't mean they are angry or miserable all day. Hopefully most people have a life outside football supporting.

Seems rather pointless to come on here and each person to say, yeah we will do better, yep we can only get better, yes things will be good let's be positive.

If they start winning Home/Away season games - Then we continue to criticise about what will win us a PREMIERSHIP. When we start winning premierships then we start criticising what will keep us winning premierships forever.

Don't care how they win premierships - as long as they do.

I'm waiting to hear my worker's compensation claim heard. Bad back. As for the 'god almighty' business, I guess that's just a result of my superb good looks.

I'm sorry if my remarks offended you. I assumed that your idotic comment was trolling for a reaction so I obliged. If you took the time to actually consider the arguments of those dissatisfied with the way the team is playing at the moment you would realise that no one is advocating wholesale culling, or dropping players for the sake of it. Rather, there is something of a consensus that the players we have are not going to win a premiership. The team is overstocked with good, solid players who all make their contributions, who give it their all, but continually fall short. The side needs adjustment and the time has come to start trying new combinations of players. I personally am dissatisifed with being a consistently middle of the road side. It is time for some new blood, but not an entirely new team. I am tired of being a 'blue collar' team. The Swans have too many players that have been given ample oportunity to perform but have reached the limits of their development, who have stopped improving and have pulled up short. Every side needs its honest toilers, but a team full of them is not going to win a flag. It is time for the coaching staff to make some big decisions, and decide which of the toilers have to make way for those who still have potential. If in doing so we slide, or don't unearth anything spectacular, so be it. At least the effort was made. We have a boring game plan and style of play that gets us into finals, where our record is horrible. It is time to change. There is no point playing one or two finals year in year out. Sometimes you need to take one step backwards before you take 2 (our in our case probablly the necessary 3 or 4) forwards. No one wants to see half the side cut and a completely inexperienced side belted each week. But some of us want some new blood introduced and are prepared to take the backward step that may follow. I want them to win, every week. But I want them to win in a way that will win a premiership, and I want to see a team built up that can do that.
