I haven't read anything from the AFL mentioning the kicking action of Johnson. However, if they admit a kick, he would have to be charged which would make them ever redder faced.

Obviously you're trying to point out something so why don't you say it instead of trying to hint towards it?

Sanecow did it eloquently enough for me. State facts, not suppositions. It really irks me when people twist the facts and statistics to suit their own ends, whether right or wrong.

You have misintepreted my sentence. Besides, what sort of facts do you have that supports the notion that the free kick was awarded for the kick?

I never stated it as facts. I only stated it as supposition and said so accordingly in the original thread where the 50m penalty was talked about.

I'm sorry for the misinterpretation. You may go now.

Alright, now that we have that cleared up we can go back to bagging the umpires.

had to laugh at that one, especially after the replay of it was shown on the screen. Holding the ball is extremely difficult for an umpire to judge but the lack of any consistent standard is annoying.

sure, but give him adequate warning before calling a fifty for it.
something like, 'calm down johnno or i'll pay fifty'.

No, the only reason I care about it is I believe it was the wrong decision and although momentum was already swinging in the swans direction it contributed to this.

Regardless of the AFL spokesperson's statement, it is perfectly legitimate to pay a free kick for sledging. If a free kick has already been paid, then a 50m penalty results. It's part of the rules. Unfortunately, the umpire's mike only caught what the umpire said and not what Johnson said.

I saw the clip and you could hear Johson say ' Get up you Weak...'
but you didnt hear the last word..then you could clearly hear the ump say ' you cant call a player a weak dog'
A little man is sitting in a room with two doors. One door says "Do Not Enter" and the other says "Do Not Exit". So he just sits there, holding his hat.
