Surely Spriggs has had enough chances. He needs to go to the ressies and learn to kick and handball to players in his own team and not the opposition. He also needs to learn that there are four quarters in a game and not just two at the beginning.Comment

Spriggs will get nothing from the reserves. In fact I would think that given the amount of AFL footy he has played he will not improve much more anyway in terms of his disposal. Rather, if he is to be perservered with he must stay in the seniors as they work out how to get the most from him. Players have to work out where to position themselves around him while he shovels it out by hand. Unlike a few others here I think Spriggs might have a future as an inside midfielder so long as he and the rest of the team can work within his limitations. (Why the football dept felt we needed another in and under type with limited disposal skills is beyond me though...)Comment

Spriggs has good hands and balance but cannot kick to a target.
Fosdike has APPALLING hands, no balance but can weight a pass nicely.
Maybe they were intending to splint their legs together and then squeeze them into one jumper to make a complete player."I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment

At York Park last weekend every time that Clarke bloke from Hawthorn (fantastic runner, limited skills) got the ball the Hawthorn fans would yell out "Run Forest Run". The only trouble was he was on Wirrpunda who looked as though he was falling asleep as he overtook Clarke(fantastic runner, but doesn't have a sister in the Olympic team, great skills). I know I'm not good at Maths but I know which equation I like. I think we have a player on the Clarke side of the ledger."The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the MachineComment
