    FWIW, I vote "Yes".
He may be improving, but the original mark he set for himself wasn't too hard to surpass.

I want to know how long we are supposed to suffer through the improvement of LRT before (1) he actually adds something to the team or (2) he finally gets dropped.

Option no 1. I'm not too keen on LRT being up against either of those players.

I have my hands over my ears and am loudly singing "I can't hear you, I can't hear you"

unfortunatley it is all written down
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I read all this commentary then went and watched the LRT highlights on my AFL online subscription to take a second look.

          1. In common with Luffy, He's a f**ing weird looking bloke and theirein lie a lot of his problems. His head is too small for his body - sort of chicken like. At the very least, he needs a hair cut. Easy prey for bored RWO snipers.

          2. He runs too fast for his own good - he gets to too many contests, but once there sort of stands around wondering what to do next. Also runs like a chicken. Get's caught of position sometimes - but don't they all.

          3. He does some good things every now and again. He does actually have some capacity to contribute. e.g. kick into the forward line last week, although my brain keeps telling me it was a fluke.

          4. On the occassion that he does win the ball, he starts to bob up and down on the spot (sort of like a hungry chicken pecking grain) and looks for any opportunity to lay the ball off, to the point where he becomes indecisive. It's midly uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch. Interestingly, gut feel is he gets better results with his kicking than ex-rugby brethren Bevan.

          5. He's actually not a bad 'stopper' and could get better, but definitely will never be a play maker.

Conclusion, he's a better athlete than footy player and it shows. However, his speed and endurance mean that he is able to participate. Whether he is able to develop footy instincts, only time will tell. Is it worth persisting, probably for another year or until a better YOUNGER option comes along.

          ...and he's a @@@@ing weird looking bloke.

He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Got your wish. Was it a good thing.
