I suspect ROK was told to play forward in an effort to increase scoring. All that did was open the flood gates to the saint kilda forwards who without a man dropping back, and no midfield pressure for the ball coming in could have a field day. A backline of Scalett and Leppitch wouldnt have done much better.

How about a backline of Scarlett and Leppitsch? How would they have gone?

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I wish LRT would be dropped from the list. Everytime he gets the balls or goes for the bunch i just look away.

In a few years we will look back at this kid and shake our head like we have at all the duds that the swans have produced over the years.

Sadly as long as Roos is coach LRT will be in the side as he is the "special project" player and is a fav of Paul Roos.

Harsh. How quickly we forget his effort against Port in that final which helped us win our 1 and only out-of-state final victory in the history of the club.

If LRT was delisted, he would be picked up by most other clubs. Too much potential. But I'm not going on an LRT defensive spree this week, so thats all I'm saying on the matter.

In which competition? Coz IMHO it wouldn't be AFL clubs.

in the ACT. 35 minutes of nothing at AFL level. Will play a blinder next week against Fred the postman.

I would have thought everyone would have jumped off the vogels bandwagon this week?

No. We need a CHF. Actually, no, we need a Forward, anywhere.

For almost 3 quarters Riewolt had not kicked a goal. He gets one late in the 3rd Q on a lead as a result of no midfield pressure at all.

He cops 2 very obvious pushes in the back from Riewolt (one results in a mark and goal) and a free for knocking Riewolts arms away. Yet Hugston so blatantly does it to Micky and gets away with it.

LRT did a sterling job under enormous pressure. His spoiling and hassling was very good on Riewolt. Well I guess there are people on here that don't appreciate some of the finer points of the game.

But he had missed 3 pretty gettable set shots at goal.
