    Some players

I'll start with the hot topics:

LRT: Beaten. Held his own for the 1st half, but when Reiwoldt played out of FF, he didnt adapt to the FB role. Didnt help that the St Kilda midfielders were pounding the ball in with no pressure over and over again.

Vogels: Did nothing. Might as well have played Schauble for all the good he did.

Leo Barry: Shocker. KP FB he aint. Probably captain he aint. Should have played Schuable. Why did Roos think St Kilda had a small forward line?

Bevan: Another clanger filled night. No, wasnt as bad as of late, but still provided little.

    Jolly: Ok.

    Goodes: Ok.

Ball: Nothing much. But the run will do him good.

    J.Bolton: BOG for Swans

    L.Ablett: Shocker.

Buchannan: When McGough's disposal makes you look like a little leaguer, its time to give the game away.

McVeigh: Improved. Looked more comfortable. Some way to go though.

    Hall: Disinterested, or injured?

    O'Keefe: Nothing much.

    Crouch: Very good.

MOL: Is he the new Capper?. Does spectacular things around the goal square but cant get more than 35m from goal.

Midfield in general: Completely slaughtered (except for Bolton). This is where we lost it.

Forward Line: Ok with opportunities. But if you cant kick over 40m, what are you doing there.

Defense: Under seige, and under sized.

Roos: Time to let go of this game plan.

    I'll have a dig

C Bolton - Worst game for the year
    LRT - Smashed
Leo Barry - He's 184cm and only 88kg for god sakes! What could he do?

Bevan - What's the season record for clangers cause i reckon he could give it a good shake.
Jude Bolton - gotta feel for him. Tried his guts out
Kirk - Hayes first good game against us, so i put that as a loss for Kirky

    Hall - not enough opportunities
Bucky - He's my fave player, but i have serious doubts if he'll make it now
    Schneider - Soft Soft Soft

Defense: under seige with no general (Schauble to straighten them up).
    Midfield: meh
Forwards: no confidence, but lacked the opportunities. Our inside 50's were the lowest for the whole year by any team.

Dont make excuses for Leo Barry. He had the worst game of his career. At least LRT took a few marks and got a few contested possessions. LB has beaten Gehrig before. And if LB aint a KP FB, dont play him there. No excuses. He played from behind all night and thats like candy to a baby to gehrig.

        Bevan's nicknameshould be 'Calamity'

Don't think we can ever play Schneider and Buchanan together.

Not sure if we should ever play Buchanan and 21 other players, his disposal is....well..... consistent

We need a midfield at the moment it is hopeless. Saddington and Vogels coming off the bench was a waste
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

If the swans are serious Buchanon & Nicks have played there last game of AFL.
Bevan will be dropped for a least a month to find some touch and they play more of the kids.

Time for a major shake up roos.

Amon - Dropped. Never to play AFL again
Schnieder - One hit wonder, fad you might say. Never to play AFL again.
LRT - yeah did ok but the experiment is over. Play for the rest of the year but thats that.
Leo Barry - He is not a fullback. Enough said.
Hall - Funny how game has gone to **** since he signed that multi million dollar contract. But then again the midfield and the disposal has been so crap he has had to lead all the way to the wing for a decent disposal.
McVeigh - Too light for AFL football. Had a few shocking kicks.
Kirk - Sadly the captain was beaten tonight.

MOL - such a sad sight to see a skilled player restriced as he has become. Just imagine how good he would be if his knees wernt bung.

            Midfield - horrible to watch.

Paul Roos - Sleepless nights..actually your safe as long as collo is around. It's a boys club.

As much as I like Buchanon's hardness at the ball his kicking sucks. It is hard to disagree with what you said.Beven HAS to go back to the 2s.

That effort was obscene. I was offended by the tripe served up to us Melbourne supporters who went. How can they expect to get 10,000 members with that trash.

Vogels - not his fault, got bugger all time
                Hall - played well
                Micky - OK few oportunities
O'Keefe - excuse me but this bloke is "off", on the nose call it what you like. No second efforts, unaccountable junk. By the way what position did he play.
Goodes - as brilliant as he can be why when he was running straight at goals 20 metres out do a right turn and try to kick the ball sideways, then in the last Q kick a toe poke grubber when clearly was steady and straitened up for a shot at goal. Was one of our few that presented anywhere but the above staggers me. Not captain material.
McVeigh - not our worst but too easily knocked off the footy.
Ablett - woeful. Defining moment of the game in 3rd Q, kicks back to LRT when he had the minnie run on, and some run throught he midfield, tried to get it back, stuffed it up - GOAL. Got my doubts as to if he has any creative value. A plodder for mine.
Crouch - had a go and at least tried to give some run. But why in the hell did he give off to Hall in heavy traffic, and when we were getting close refused to kick for goal inside 50 twice, and twice he stuffed it up.
Mathews - played on Dal Santo and got a few touches, but how about his @@@@ ups early on. Suspect Del Santo has 20+ possessions. No good, gives absolutely no creativity and continues to miss dead in front from 20 metres.
LRT - he will have his knockers but I thought he did alright. Not his fault that when he was in front Riewolt got away with 2 hand back pushes. Bloody appalling decisions.
Kennelly - tried hard and was one of the better players.
Nicks - too old, falls over etc. etc.etc. Gorn
Barry - why was Craig Bolton not moved onto Gehrig? ****e coaching perhaps. And when will we see, if ever Leo do something with the footy instinctively instead of giving the opposition a week to man up. Leaves me cold.
Bolton C - shocking kick out but gee nowhere near our worst.
Jolly - why was he off or so long? When he was on we had a chance at clearances.
Ball - too old, should never had played. Could not bend over. While has been out Jolly has really stepped up. Comes back in and spent too much unfit time on the ground.
Kirk - should be Captain, full stop. Great effort for mine. Tried like hell to get things happening.
Jude Bolton - top game. I thought he genuinely tried to lift the team in the 3rd Q until Ablett shot the game.
Bevan - this player is a joke. How can he possibly get a game before Dempster. Staggering to say the least.
Buchanan - see Bevan - did his compulsory miss from 20 metres and made so many mistakes it is not funny. Dives into packs, but when he gets it, it's good night nurse. Not competent at this level
Schneider - showed he is clearly not up to the top level, and proved once and for all he is not a midfielders lemonade. Disposal was crap and chased tails all night.
                Saddington- over the hill.

Stick him at CHB and see how he does.

                    Jolly: Ok.

Better than that. Took a lot of important contested marksin the D50.

                    Goodes: Ok.

A shot between the big sticks is worth two scinitallating misses.

                    Hall: Disinterested, or injured?

Er. Kicked 3 out of a total of 8. Thats not great but its ok for a CHF.

                    Yes. MOL = FF

Roos: Time to let go of this game plan.
What game plan is that? The one you listed above? I dont think that was his game plan. Make up your mind. It was either the game plan or the above.

I fell everyone here is the so called expert. So many knockers. Yes it was a crap game and I am not feeling real sociable.
Argued all night with hubby was to make matters worse was sarcastic spoilt the game even more than it was.

Leave the Coach alone - don't want anyone else - for goodness sake.
When you start talking to other players not many of the coaches are popular, liked by the players or fans
                        Love those Swans

I agree. I tend to think our strategy wins or loses on the clearences from the centre. But, in AFL, whos does not?

8 goals in perfect conditions - does it get much worse than that!?! Nearly the same score line as the final last year (15-11 v. 8-10, against 16-11 v. 8-8)- we are going nowhere.

Excluding the Hawthorn game we are averaging 9.9 goals per game - that is crap!
