It's sometimes poor skills, much of the time poor decison making. The coaches can do something about skills but decision making they reckon is hard to teach.
One thing I noticed at the game Saturday night, was the certain players who seemed to have the poorer skills physically and in decision making were seemed to be given latitude by the opposition.
Wouldn't surprise me if opposition teams allow certain Swans easy possessions due to the fact they have history of turnovers and clangers. It got to the stage one certain player was getting free and I was thinking please don't kick it to him.

Leo's job on Fraser Rd 10 2004 was a fluke (a lucky bonus because we hammered the Saints onballers that day) and anyone who watched the final would have seen that.
No disrespect to Leo because I don't expect him to do that kind of near impossible task regularly. It's like watching a dog cross a croc infested river. It may get across once, but don't try it twice if you don't have to.
We had Schauble ready to go and we left him out of the team. Leo should have been on Reiwolt if anyone (though Lewie is improving).
If the coaches were to blame for anything, it was an ill-conceived game plan, too clever by half.
Leo was fed to the crocs!
Yep yep and yep again.
I have no problem with Leo being used as FB when there is no other choice - and he's been up to the task more often than not. But when a bloke like Gehrig is "on" and his midfield is presenting him the ball with little pressure from our boys, he won't stand a chance.
Maybe Schaubs would have been murdered too, but at least we might have had some run from Barry instead. Or even from Dempster, had he been in the team at the expense of Nicks or one of the young, small bit-part players.
I noticed David King in the rooms with the Tiges on Friday.
And wondered whether he (as well as Wallace) was the reason they are playing so well this year. King was one of the hardest running defensive players, going around for the last few years.
And only retired last year, so has a lot of current player knowledge.
Our Coaching Staff, haven't played for a number of years, Ross Lyon hasn't played for 10 years Longmire (5), the game has evolved dramatically in that time. Lyon joined the Swans b4 the start of 2004, our game plan has been crap for the last two years.
Is this a coincidence??
Would we not be better with a more recent ex player coach??
