Those in Sydney might not know but has been reported on all channels here in Melbourne that Nick Stevens is currently hospitalised with a 'mystery' illness. Carlton is adamant that he will play and it's only the flu but there is speculation that it could have him in doubt for the match. In any case he is their hard running midfielder so this must be a setback for him.

Apparently its gastro and he is in hospital on a drip. So he has one full day to flush out the bug and get his fluids up to normal.Originally posted by Snowy

Will he be able to run 15km after that? Doubt it, but he is a tough character. Our Greatest Moment:

Stevens defies gastro"He was only in hospital for a couple of hours," Williams said. "He's significantly better today and at this stage he'll definitely be fine to play on the weekend."
