    Stevens health scare

Those in Sydney might not know but has been reported on all channels here in Melbourne that Nick Stevens is currently hospitalised with a 'mystery' illness. Carlton is adamant that he will play and it's only the flu but there is speculation that it could have him in doubt for the match. In any case he is their hard running midfielder so this must be a setback for him.

I heard that, it must be bad to be in horsepittle. Even if he plays his energy levels will be zapped.

Apparently its gastro and he is in hospital on a drip. So he has one full day to flush out the bug and get his fluids up to normal.

Will he be able to run 15km after that? Doubt it, but he is a tough character.

"He was only in hospital for a couple of hours," Williams said. "He's significantly better today and at this stage he'll definitely be fine to play on the weekend."
              Stevens defies gastro

Anyoine who has had a bad bout of Gastro knows it knocks the crap out of you (no pun intended) and takes a few days to fully recover.

I reckon the first person to tackle him and land on his guts will be back pedalling pretty damn quickly.

Could generate some runs through the Carlton midfield
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
