Well at least he got excited for us when we got up. Wallsy is such a stubborn bastard he will wait until we have another ordinary game just so he can sink the boot in.

BTW - I thought the banner was an absolute RIPPER on the weekend!! I reckon there was a couple of goals in that alone, and probably Bucky's was one of them

It is incredible isn't it. You hear so often of very literate young budding Journalism graduates not being in the hunt for a job, yet a prat like Jackie Epstein gets a gig writing about something she knows nothing about. Her stories for a long time have been rubbish.

Most likely nepotism is the answer, perhaps dad is a company executive of some note.

And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

Another mid season review, sligtly better.

          AFL.com

          SYDNEY:
          Position: 6th. Season record: 6-5.
What has gone right: The Swans have won the games they should win and hence their position in the top eight at the halfway stage of the season as just one of seven teams to have more games than they have lost so far. And with four of their next six games to be played in Sydney, the Swans have a great chance to lay the foundations for a third successive finals berth in coming weeks.
What has gone wrong: The Swans are the second lowest scoring team in the competition and there is little wonder given their indirect style of play. Despite having two of the AFL's best forwards in Barry Hall and Michael O'Loughlin there have been games this year - such as the round two clash against the Kangaroos in Canberra and the round 10 loss to St Kilda at Telstra Dome - when the Swans have moved the ball forward painfully slow. Their style of kicking the ball backwards and sideways to maintain possession and to try and force ball-ups at all costs even led to AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou criticising their style of play.
          Pre-season predicted finish: 5th.
          Current prediction: 7th.
