I cant say I found one minute of that game boring. The second quarter was exceptional.

After being so negative this morning, you know think we'll come 3rd.

        I know or I think?

I'd just prefer 3rd to 4th... funny that...

By which time we only had one fit player on the bench and Goodes was exhausted from rucking single-handedly all game (not to mention running around the ground, practically winning the game on his own).

            Why finish 4th?

It guarantees that we avoid the dreaded trip to Subiaco in preliminary final week. It is better to have the trip to Perth in the first week because there's a second chance in the first week of the finals. There is no second chance in the third week.

Of course, I assume here that the Eagles are going to finish on top of the ladder.

Can we beat the Eagles at Subiaco in the first week? On current form I say we can't but the first week of the finals is still 3 months away. In this year of upsets anything is possible. I just hope the Crows don't pinch the flag!

Why not finish 3rd, win, play the prelim at home and not have to worry about the Weagles until then, or the week after.

But as you said, it is all Pie in the Sky. Sorry, unless you are Country Member, then it is win, win, win. First Carlton, then the FLAG! Go Barry, Go Jude, Go Adam. Youse guys are all the greatest.

For all the good it's going to do with 11 weeks still to go in the regular season - why not finish top? Why not win three finals in a row and take the cup home and p!ss in it?

There is a hell of a lot of things that have to happen before we can even worry about a top 4 finish, let alone which exact spot in the top 4 we want!?

I struggle to believe people are arguing which spot in the top 4 is better for us, as if it is a fore-gone conclusion that we have the choice. If being a swans supporter for years has taught you nothing else, at least you should know that it is never, NEVER, worth getting ahead of yourselves.

I find it intriguing that your greatest ambition is to win the right to urinate in the premiership cup. It's more conventional to drink champagne from it.

Well, it seemed like a good way to express myself at the time!

I was just shocked that I take 2 days off from here and come back to find everyone squabbling over whether we want to finish 3rd or 4th.
