Yeah, that's what I think. If they're young then we can expect them to captain for longer. Still, Barry Hall would be a great captain

I still think he and Kirky are neck and neck. Lets see first if Bazza can help us thump the crap out of the Shockers this weekend

          My personal Pref. Jude [/B]
Why ? You havn't even seen him captain yet.

I still think Jude has a way to go to be truly considered an elite player. I also think a player ought to be undoubtably in the elite class before he is given the full time captaincy.

Man, this situation is just insane (and this is not a dig at you FH), the whole idea that we are trialling all these blokes for the rest of the year to pick a bloke for next year. You don't normally ever have a chance of seeing your next Captain before it's his time, unless your current Captain gets injured. God forbid that we give the Captaincy to Jude and he becomes an "elite" player because of it.

Who are your current "elite" players in the Swans FH?

Well without getting into the argument over who is / could be / should be "elite", I reckon that AA selection or finishing in the top 5 in the Brownlow are a good start.

Jude has done neither just yet, but then Scott West has never captained the Dogs either

Not willing to commit until I have seen them all have their shot and this may have been mentioned prior, but I loved the way Barry decided to take some control of the game when it was needed.

It was very much of the Carey ilk, in that when he wanted to take control, Baz just went and got the ball and did the damage to Carlton that was needed.

The difference between The Duck/Baz and your average midfielder is that when they want to do damage a good CHF can make it count on the scoreboard.

Make no mistake about it, Baz took those 14 marks on the weekend because he was willing to control the game. He wasn't willing to wait for something to happen - not on his shift as skipper!

I feel sorry for the Freo backmen already and it's only Monday night!

Hall's 14 marks were his equal highest (done it twice before but not since 2002).
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

They've all been good so far - Leo got a touch up against the Saints but doesn't mean he can't captain the side....BUT I have a feeling that if he plays well that Jude Bolton will get it.

Hard as nails at the ball but is starting to use it a lot better this year.

I would give Bazza another week then Goodesy 2 and call it then.

Just dont think he had as much IMPACT as captain. He didn't/couldn't take the game by the scruff, whereas both Kirky and Bazza seemed to be able to influence the result through sheer will.

Don't be Haddrill's done well on Barry previously and they've got Parker, Polack, McPharlin & even Pavlich as plans B, C, D & E.

And Polack is a pretender at this level STILL.
