Others include Gary Ablett (obviously) and Stephen Silvagni - anyone heard the rest?

My tip for legend: Alex Jesaulenko.

95% sure that Daicos was already in there (and yes, he's HofF level).

I didn't think current players/coaches could be included. Did they change that rule?

Jock McHale was the Legend inducted.

Other HoF inductees (trying to remember the list they flashed up), Gary Ablett, Kelvin Moore, Peter Moore, Max Basheer, Ian Nankervis, Someone Spencer and might have missed one other in addition to Silvagni and Roos.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

He hasn't been inducted as a coach, but as a player. He is therefore eligible - as was Gary Ayres when he was inducted.

BTW - on a semi-related note, it is an indictment on the institution that Kevin Sheedy is not even invited to this dinner.

That would have been Jock Spencer. There were supposed to be eight, so I don't think you missed anyone. I hadn't noticed that Moore wasn't in until now - hard to believe that a dual Brownlow Medallist could be overlooked nine times.

McHale is fair enough - I'm glad they changed the rule to allow coaches to be legends. McHale, Smith, Hafey, Jeans and Sheedy could all stake a claim to legend status eventually.

                            Paul Roos Sydney's Lionheart

                            Roosy Fittingly Inducted

                            Nothing Ugly About Roos' Inclusion

some good reading there and just shows what a champion he was as a player.

i can only remember him donning the red and white and being pivotal in 96 with the mattress on his thigh, ahhhhhh good memories roosy.

just saw some footage of him with fitzroy, he must have been a bloody jet in his younger days

Roos was awesome - one of my favourite players.
