Hard to believe he was already that old (32) when he moved to Sydney.

I remember watching the first few games of '96 thinking, 'jeez Roosey you should've given it away'. How wrong was that!!!!

Noticeable by their absence in this list is the SMH - I couldn't find anything online either - it's a disgrace if they haven't acknowledged this honour for Sydney's coach.

Hmm... it's hard to believe that they wouldn't be aware of the significance of Hall of Fame membership. It's the highest individual honour that can be bestowed in football, now. Above the Brownlow.

It'd be a worry if they didn't bother to throw in even a small article.
        We hate Anthony Rocca
        We hate Shannon Grant too
        We hate scumbag Gaspar
        But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Sadly Roos' 356-game career - 269 with Fitzroy and 87 with Sydney...

Shame about his sons not qualifying under the father-son rule
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

True, but as Roosy said last week in relation to the AFL plan for Sydney and NSW going forward, that it will take a lot for his boys to make it at AFL level coming from Sydney.

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

              They will be eligible.....
served for not less than 5 years as President, Vice-President General Manager, Football Manager, Senior Coach or elected member of the Senior Grade Committee of any club,
....assuming he sees out his existing contract.

There is also a proviso for eligibility based on playing in the Sydney AFL (as long as such playing is not just to meet this eligibilty requirement)
