Pro Stats Player Rankings -- after ten rounds

The ProStats player Rankings are based on a sophisticated formula that takes into account disposals, possessions, scoring and one percenters giving appropriate weighting based on the context of the game and the result.

Scores below are average per game.

All players will have pts for and agst accumulated in each game which are then tallied over the season.

The Eff % is calculated from the points "for" scored over the points "against".

    Code:
    J.Bolton 56.6 92%
    B.Kirk 53.0 93%
    B.Hall 50.9 81%
    A.Goodes 48.2 89%
    P.Williams 44.5 93%
    L.Barry 41.5 85%
    C.Bolton 41.4 89%
    M.O'Loughlin 40.0 82%
    N.Davis 39.3 91%
    T.Kennelly 39.0 88%
    D.Jolly 38.3 88%
    R.O'Keefe 35.4 86%
    L.Ablett 35.1 86%
    A.Buchanan 33.4 81%
    J.Crouch 30.5 81%
    B.Mathews 28.9 86%
    P.Bevan 28.8 83%
    M.Nicks 27.5 82%
    J.McVeigh 27.1 90%
    L.Vogels 24.5 92%
    L.Roberts-Thompson 19.2 81%
The highest score in the comp is 74.4 and highest Eff% is 97%.

The lowest score in the comp is 18.8 lowest Eff% is 76%.

J Bolton is ranked 10th amongst the midfielders, Barry is 4th amongst the defenders, and Hall 4th amongst the forwards. We have no one else in the top 20 of those three categories and no one in the top 20 overall.

    It looks like roughly:
    >50 excellent
    >40 playing pretty well
    <40 average
<30 struggling or lack of game time

    Very interesting.

Generally confirms my feelings about how the players are travelling.

I would have thought that Ablett and Jolly should be in the "playing pretty well" range. Though Jolly has given away a few frees when playing and Abletts had a few games as a bit of a negator.

The real question is who is it that has a lower score than LRT? (i.e, 18.8).
I really don't see how anyone could be worse. It invalidates the whole thing in my mind.

...or is there a team so struck with injuries that the ICR is getting a game. Still IMO, ICR>LRT.

For us to be in our position team wise does that mean we have a fairly even spread compared to other teams? Those statistics paint a fairly gloomy picture but we are in the 8.

Is this right? If so, surely you'd have people with % over 100?

Are these the same people that Fox Footy uses to name their top 10 players of the week as I've noticed that Jude and Brett always do well in that?

Jonathan Hay from Hawthorn has the lower score

I rolled eyes at that too, but I can't argue with the order of the list.
Where can you get the rankings for all the teams?

I'm not actually quite sure how they work this part - it tends to range between 80% and 95%, so I think their description isn't quite accurate.

Speaking of ChampionData, by the half time last game against Carlton, LRT was in the top five players in the game (with score in the 60). By the game end, his score was around the same. By my calculation, his impact for the second half was in negative territory.

Poor LRT - he can't even lead the field at being worst.
