We should of beaten Richmond (1 point) and Adelaide (7 points) as well. I wonder how our season would of panned out then?

        Final Ladder would have been:
        1. WC
        2. Sydney
        3. Adelaide
        4. St Kilda

Possible scenarios of what might have been.

Win the first game, a Home Prelim. ( No games at the G)
Lose, a Home Elim, then WC in Perth. (No games at the G)

Who gives a RATS CLACKER, We won the PREEEMIERSHIP!!!!!

I wouldn't wish for it any other way now for that very reason. I'm glad the umps ripped us off in Perth, which set us upon our course for the premiership. Who knows what would have happened had we gone straight to a preliminary final at home against Adelaide.

There certainly would of been alot more pressure on us. We would of been fabourites playing at home.

With the Saint Kilda game, there were less expetctions on us exactly how we like it. The Aints had all the pressure on them with 'Victoria' jumping on their bandwagon, or so the media hyped it up to be.

Unless history really is bunk, we will play finals this year - and on current trends we should be looking at top four. That all "pretenders" should create such a wonderful illusion. . .

That was in response to something originally posted by footyhead:

"I agree, and am still dissapointed that so many people around here can get so excited by so little.

Until I am convinced we have a team who is not a pretender, I refuse to jump on any band - wagon created by those substances most people from RWO seem to be addicted to: hope and hysteria."

Ah, it's nice to reminisce - at that stage the season still had about 10 H&A games to play.
