Mike should be top of the ladder after another 200+ .

And my silly mistake got Grant a 200+, with Whitnall (25).

And BRB should be last, after the bottom 3 scored their first wins.

Yeah - I was lucky Pav was well held and Crowley tackled everybody on sight and equalled Goodwin's score. Also, I dropped Matera before the game as I thought we might blanket him, so pleased we did!

Goodwin came up with the red cross so I thought he was ineligible I think.

I really like the game and the system, and think it's really welll put together, but I would like to see a few things changed.

Instead of the steps for scoring, I'd rather it be proportional.

I agree with others that tackling should be reduced in effectiveness.

I think there should be a couple of extra players in the team and probably an emergency.

Would be nice if the defence was worth a bit more too.

Well, by my calcs, my team has moved to the top of the ladder with both of the previously undefeated teams going down. Only there on points scored, with 3 other teams sharing a 3-1 record. Meanwhile at the other end of the ladder, the 3 teams who came into the round without a win all nothced up their first victories for the comp.

Another 200 plus score, with the highest scoring player in my squad not even in the selected team. My 2 backs kicking 4 goals each probably helped though!

I am really enjoying this game. I think the best improvement would be an emergency system of some sort. To play from the start of the season would be even more fun so here's hoping we get a comp together next season... ('cause I think this one is over for me...)

I found that during the week - seems it underestimated my players performances on the whole!

No point doing it for this year (changing rules mid-comp is not usually a good idea IMHO) - but these things would be good to have available for next season.

Why not, the AFL changes the rules whenever it likes!

Try to make sure they're only used for real emergencies and not trying to fit in another midfielder in the a back position.

That's an excellent point. Maybe an emergency for back, m/f, fwd and ruck? I agree that it is probably best not to change mid season, but since we started mid-season, why not? Help iron out the bugs for next year?

Might need to make it a slightly bigger squad then, as not everyone would have 2 ruckmen in theirs, and it means that you would need to have 1 extra in each position as a minimum.

Another option might be just adding in the lowest score from any player who played that is on your bench (ie no score because they didn't play doesn't count as lowest). That way it means that trying to rort the emergency system as you can do on afl.com.au is negated.
