What about a 10 team comp, play each team twice over the first 18 rounds - top 5 finals system which would cover the remaining 4 rounds of the H&A season?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

10-team comps are certainly the best number for a full season.

Funny you should mention the entry fee... we're currently in negotiations with a third party to offer a prizemoney-based option for leagues next season. Prizemoney could be as high as four figures for leagues where the entry fee is high enough. All still under discussion.

After a bit of naffing about by me (sorry if your scoreboard looked funny for a while!) you can now see live totals for other games in your league on your scoreboard page.

Almost broke 200. Is it the equivalent of a 2000 in the DT?

                        A pretty fair comparison.

I managed to get home in a close over the Pies, leaving me at 4-1 and half a game clear of Bloods at the top of the ladder with all 3 other teams that were 3-1 going into the round going down.

The decision to play Mooney for McPharlin wasn't a winner, but only cost 5 points in the end. Solid performances from all my bench players might result in a couple of changes for next week's big game against ROK.

Pretty happy with my selections. Only had 17 points on the bench and only one player playing who was outscored by bench players. No scratchings this week certainly helped too.

do we keep the same teams for next year or have another pre season draft?

Pretty poor weekend all up, both here and in DT. The less said the better.

You have a new preseason draft next year.

In the US they have "keeper" or "dynasty" leagues where you keep the same players from year to year. We haven't implemented that at FanFooty yet, although you could replicate it by having the commissioner enter some of the draft picks before the draft starts. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the exact same coaches from one year to the next.
