Well, I left Dew on the bench for the 2nd week in a row, he scored 27 (cost me 19 points) and dropped McPharlin and brought in Sanderson. McPharlin scored 26, Sanderson 4. Still ended up with a score of 189 thanks to a lot of 20-something scores.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Select "League" then "Home". Click on the team in the running score and it opens the window- I had been going by just the Draw window then stumbled across this today. It's quite neat and I imagine the way we are supposed to be watching the games unfold!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Ah ta - I didn't realise the link went there. Cool! I'd been watching through the Draw page. This is much better!

How unfortunate is my bench - 54 wasted points!

Being able to see your bench players makes it hurt a little more. I had 71 points on my bench!

Shame you didn't - it would have been the first 200 point score!!

LIke your article on the site!!

Yeah, but my 54 points were in just 2 players!

Now I've had a proper look at all the site and links and everything, it's fantastically done. The only thing I'd like to change is increase the teams by 2 (reducing the bench) and somehow allow for an emergency in case of injury.

78 on the bench (although I wouldn't have had 2 of the 4 players in using hindsight anyway). If I had my highest possible scoring team in the 11, I would have ended up with 231.

Thought stella's article was well written and wonderfully imaginative.

I think we will get a good crowd too this week, given adequate media coverage. Any chance of getting a race organised for the half time entertainment, maybe get 6 bloodthirsty greyhounds chasing an Auskicker or two.

Anyone interested in trading for Rhett Biglands? I notice a few teams had some rucking issues this week.

Interesting scores overnight. I don't think that Ruda got enough out of her heavy Magpies contingent to get over Liz.

In the top of the table clash between Dapto and (the very lucky so far) Goldspink it is 0 all. Poor team selection by rokster naming the suspended Andrew Welsh.

I'm not complaining about last night's performances in my game against ugg - Jason Johnson's lowest scoring game in FF since Rd 7 while Lucas scored 31 (although he didn't have a stat in the 4th). Made 3 changes this week - traded Sanderson for McGregor and dropped Schammer and Murphy and brought in McPharlin and Dew - Murphy didn't score, so happy with that result!

I didn't know Welsh was suspended - when I checked the teams on Thurs night he was named, so must've been a late thing.

As far as I can tell he was named in the side and did not withdraw until after I had left last night for my first game of hockey in 4 years (which is nearly worthy of its own thread). I am still confident that I will get over the dishlickers. They are a rabble.

Great start by Grant against ScottH.

Also very good start by Glenn against the Koolaiders!

Surely BRB's team this week is the worst to take the park in the history of the comp! Three players in the side not playing, plus 46 pts on the bench already!!
