Forgot to change out Goddard again!

Although last week when I forgot I was going to bring in C Bolton who scored a total of 1. Happy with 20 from Scarlett, I think that is the best game he has had for Dapto- dissapointed with only 9 from Ball though.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Well ROK has flown out the blocks with a score of 79 from 3 players in last night's game. Even though none of my players played, it will be a tough ask to pull that score back.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

134 Genius of Goldspink Hamill, Aaron
        135 PigDogs Clarke, Tim
        136 Hot Pies McLaren, Dylan

Just wanted to point out again how much value their can be late in the draft

A long way to go Mike. Kosi kicking 5 behinds was annoying. Another couple marks, kicks and a goal and he would have been mid 20s too. I don't think we will have idea of who is going to win until late tomorrow, which is good. I am really enjoying this comp and look forward to a longer edition next year.

It's what happens when you're willing to punt on selecting injured players at the time of the draft. A double-edged sword if they don't come back for a while, or take a while to find form again when you might have been able to get someone else of reasonable value, but in your case both Kosi and Hamill have hit form as soon as they returned from their injuries.

Bartels must be the highest scoring bench player in the history of this game!

Good to see BRB left his team half full of injured players again!!

He'll still beat me though. I picked up Chris Grant off the list but I left him on the bench

                  Tasty!

Oh well - I'm screwed - most of my team have failed to turn up to play and I didn't realise Keating was injured this week.

I'm not sure if this has been dicussed, but I wouldn't mind a review of how players are assigned say each 1/4 of a season- I realize that might be a hassle for the fanfooty admins, but perhaps you could setup to have folks using the system nominate exceptions for review (so then you may only get 50 to review instead of reviewing all the players?). Lucas and Goodes are both listed as backs, for example, but are playing forward/midfield and have been for a while- positions that score much better than the backs do.

I take your point that the designations this season were a little off in some areas over the course of the season. However, changing positions halfway through the season is not the answer, since people who drafted those players would rightly be able to complain that they are getting screwed, while other AFL players might also qualify for being changed but are not. You can never keep everyone happy if you change things midseason - why shift Goodes and Lucas if you're not going to shift Hodge or Gilbee? Wherever you move the line to, people are going to be annoyed that their players have or have not been changed and they would accuse the FF admins af making arbitrary decisions - an accurate assessment.

It's better to leave the positions as they are for the whole season even if they aren't entirely accurate at times, and those who picked up "backs" who spend a lot of time in the midfield or "rucks" who rest a lot in the goalsquare can congratulate themselves on their good judgement.

Isn't part of the point of drafting to know the players who are good value for their position? We all knew when we did the draft that Lucas and Goodes, for example, would spend very little time in the backline.

Barring a miracle, I will get a good touching up from ROK. Depending on final scores, could stay top of the ladder, but may drop down to 2nd or 3rd.

I nearly played Brown this week too...

Pretty much the same team struggled to get 120 two weeks ago. Mine seem to pretty much all fire, or all go missing. I should have called them Sydney Swans...

I will enjoy the all canine encounter this afternoon. Scotty needs to catch up about 80 (+ whatever the Bris defence manage) with 4 pretty good players going around. Should be a wonderful spectacle and perhaps the chance of top spot on the ladder on offer for the winner. I am tempted to mix my metaphors and favour stella because he has the runs on the board, but footy is a funny old game...

How embarassment. Lost by 18 points and had 4 scores of 20+ on the bench
