                                        I think that suggesting a player is kicking for touch highlights their intention with a bit of wit, regardless of whether it is the correct term. If the player is not using the boundary line correctly (with a deliberate attempt to put the ball out of bounds) then the fans aren't probably entirely obliged to refer to the boundary line by its correct name.

                                        That said, you're right!

                                                            FWIW - Bolton has been one our midfields best this year - totally dedicated to getting his head over the ball and wining possesion. Has worked very hard and has shown he has the biggest nads of all our midfielders all year.

                                                            Who would you want to trade him for/hope to pick up?
