why do people hate milne , farmer and matera ?

    because they are so good

I'm afraid schneider is a one season wonder like Les Bamblett and Adrian McAdam

Earlier this year he gave a gobful to young Ed Clarke telling him

"to pull his head in and not to think he's a superstar"

    Pot calling the kettle black

Schneides and his attitude problem mate Powell need to start with a clean slate elsewhere

    over to you Schneiderman
    Unfortunately I agree 100%.

He has talent, just a shocking attitude.

      Wow you think ?

so lace out to the chest of a leading forward is the best kick, geez

      Thought of coaching ?

And how do you know that? You on the inner in the club? Know him socially?

His work ethic at reserves level looks fine to me. Am curious as to where all this personal vitriol towards Schneider comes from.

Yep Schneids has a good work ethic at reserves level like you said

But not what is required at the top.

I also do have some inside knowledge from a player and know one of the staff well

I'm not anti schneider - I'd love to see him return to his best

          that he showed in 2003

But people must stop making excuses for him

His own form, attitude etc have given people like Monty a chance

Schneids has (IMHO) more talent than Monty but monty has worked a lot harder and has a better attitude

Maybe we should delist Schneides and redraft him - sound familiar?

              He is selfish

He doesn't do the hard things when the opposition has the ball, gives up a chase very, very easily etc

He is soft and rarely puts his body on the line

              He is a showpony

I'm actually very good friends with his girlfriend with whom I went to uni with.

Apparently Bunnings warehouse is selling bulk vitriol off very inexpensively, it comes in sizes an several exciting flavours,
                10kg Standard Serves are available in Fatso-Schneider, Can't Mark-Kenneally, MatureAge-Maxfield, Mediocre-Mathews and KFC-Davis.
A special 75kg Hate Everything About Him pack is avaiable for the less coherant of the anti-LRT herd, because while many of them don't have individual opinions . . . . they do have a tendancy to slosh the LRT personal vitriol into every single thread on the website.

It's gotten so bad even his Dad's taken to defending him in the paper.

Ah - so his girlfriend is the one telling you that he is lazy, has a bad attitude, doesnt work hard enough - Im sure she does!
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

For whatever reason, you can see Schneider does certain things on the field that appear selfish or lazy or arrogant or simply lacking in decision making ability.

Now see it was exactly these qualities that made him such a revelation in 2003. Even last year he showed flashes of personal brilliance that changed the game at the time (take a look at the Essendon game at the G last year). When it works its "brilliant", when it fails its "selfish" Didak and Milne will tell you this too.

This year it aint working out, and like Davis he is learning that talent counts for little when you aren't kicking goals.

The same people would have written off MOL earlier in his career too, and I levelled the same criticisms at Goodes early last year. Most talent-rich players go overboard at some stage in their careers, and become "selfish".

Of course its not "selfish" if you (wrongly) believe that you can win a game for the team off your own boot. But AFL is a team sport, so this sort of behaviour runs the high risk of backfiring.

I believe he will be back next year with a vengence. Just like Nick this year.

                              yes Scneiderman at another club

face facts - there are too many other small players at sydney

                              good luck to him elsewhere

I'd never deny a player the opportunity elsewhere

but he aint got no future in red and white

But it is not that he is 'doing the wrong thing' it is that he is not doing enough !

Soft at contests, lazy in chasing opponents and drifting out of games.

Big difference between that and selfish play
