    'Bout time!

Hang on... I'll withdraw that thought and hold onto it until after the game.

Hope he kicks 3 or 4.

      FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope he plays well! Glad to see that Roos made him work for it though - hopefully it will make him a stronger player!
And its my birthday next week - what a cool present!
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

He hasn't been criticised as much as LRT I know (as if that were possible!), but I hope he proves the doubters wrong and seizes the chance to cement his spot in the team as the crumber we really need in that forward line.

Let's hope that this game will mark his re-arrival, just as he 'arrived' on Anzac Day 2003 by kicking 3 goals against the Demons.

I would have thought he 'arrived' in his first game, against Carlton, when he kicked 2.2 and had 14 possessions.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

              Me too.
I keep watching the 2003 highlights DVD and thinking "where have those skills gone?" Hope he can find them and that Roos doesnt play him as a BLOODY MIDFIELDER - stick him at Hall's feet and let him do what he does best! Hope he kicks 5!

For me, Schneider's long goal from 50m after Barry Hall threw a Melbourne player to the ground like a rag doll in the last quarter comeback was the moment he arrived - if only because he was one of the players to spark that 10-goal quarter. But yes, he did show promise before that.

(Edit: Yeah, I've got the 2003 highlights DVD too - I remember it pretty clearly off that )

I will be very happy to eat a large slice of humble pie if you goes well

CONSISTENTLY FOR MORE THAN A FEW GAMES

I'd hate to see hime play well then drop off because he thinks he's back

The ball is in your court Adam - lets see what you are made of !!

McVeigh deserved to be dropped - Roos has given him enough chances over the past 6 weeks

Schneider deserves his chance if he has been performing well in the magoos

Lets hope that Malceski gets another chance if the situation warrants it

Lets not forget Schmidt and little Willo as well

Slightly off topic query: Are the DVDs widescreen (16:9) or still plain old square TV (4:3)?

Only 4:3. Was a bit disappointing that it only ran for about 70 mins - but still managed to fit in some good highlights.

Schneider, Moore, Buchanan... in the same squad? Bizarre...

I am really happy for Adam but we need some tangible output from him when he's not on the pine.

To be a great crumber you need the skills when the ball isn't in your hands. I thought the most important stat was those 4 tackles.

I would say he was working at hustling backmen into turnovers and great forwards are brilliant at locking the ball into the F50.

Schneides used to be great at that, we need that all night long againts the Dees because you have to pressure Nicholson, Ferguson, Bizzell and Brown. More than likely Johnston and White will get back there to help out too.

Few goals would be sweet too.

Forward, backup midfielder, midfielder. Considering that Roos seems to think that all 18 players on the field should be in the midfield at once it isn't that strange
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

When in Sydney and Schneider is in, will you actually STAY at the ground to watch the seniors or flee after the reserves because Schneider isn't playing?
