        I was at the game on Saturday night and was sitting right near the Swans bench. I noticed a couple of interesting things:

        1. The hard work that Jude does is amazing. The number of smothers he made and his toughness was outstanding. (I always knew this but sitting so close just reinforced it).

        2. I noticed that the players up for the captaincy took on the role whilst sitting on the bench. Goodes, Hall and Kirk constantly were yelling out instructions to their teammates on the field.

        3. Willo, Jude and Kirky were absolutely exhausted every time they came off the ground. Shows you how hard they work.
